Short Poem on Earth Day: “We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.” There was a time, When the earth was green, clean and fine. Once humans took over, The earth became polluted and saw a version of herself which was newer. God became angry with humans, And bought down COVID-19 fumes. This made the earth breathe again, As the water became clear, the trees became greener, and all the bad omen was in vain.

There was a time,
When the earth was green, clean and fine.
Once humans took over,
The earth became polluted and saw a version of herself which was newer.
God became angry with humans,
And bought down COVID-19 fumes.
This made the earth breathe again,
As the water became clear, the trees became greener, and all the bad omen was in vain.
